Jodi Elliott has been with Hand in Hand since October of 2003. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Minnesota in Therapeutic Recreation. Before working at Hand in Hand, she has worked with adults with disabilities. She attended Concordia University to receive her Pre-Kindergarten to sixth grade license. Jodi has three children and lives in Woodbury.
Sonia Jenny has been with Hand in Hand since November of 2003. Born and raised in El Salvador, Sonia moved to the United States in 1991. She has been working in the Early Childhood arena for over 10 years and has her Child Development Associates Degree. Sonia taught in New York before moving to Minnesota. She is married with two children and lives in Woodbury.
Sarah Barron has been with Hand in Hand since June of 2005. Her first position was that of floating substitute and since August of 2006 she has been the Co-Toddler teacher. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Concordia University in Elementary Education with a minor in Lutheran Confessionalism. Sarah is married with two children and lives in New Richmond, Wisconsin.
Brianna Just has been with Hand in Hand since September 2011. Her first position was that of floating substitute and since May of 2012 she has been the Co-Toddler teacher. Brianna has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from North Dakota State University in Child Development and Family Science and she also has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Valley City State University in Elementary Education. She lives in St. Paul.
Rachel Koyiol has been the preschool co-teacher since June 2014. While attending Concordia University, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Elementary education and minored in Lutheran Confessionalism and received the preprimary endorsement. During Rachel’s time at Concordia she worked as a student worker at Hand in Hand and was happy to return as a full time staff member 2 years after she graduated. She is married and lives in Burnsville.
Amanda Snyder has been with Hand in Hand since October of 2012. Before that, she worked for the center as a student worker from 2006-2010. Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Degree from Concordia University in Theater/History. She also serves as a primary responder through lifeguarding and training other responders at the YMCA. Before coming back to Hand-in-Hand, Amanda worked as a toddler teacher for KinderCare and the YMCA. She lives in Saint Paul with her cat.
Lacey Wellens has has worked Hand in Hand since 1986. She has been a Toddler Teacher, Co-Preschool Teacher and is currently Director. Lacey received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood minor from Concordia University. She also received her Masters of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia. She is married with two children and lives in Richfield.
